The Art of Getting Over Yourself: How to Build Belonging Through P.L.A.Y.

For Leaders

In this half or full day professional development workshop, your leadership team will learn fun, easy and economical strategies to improve their day-to-day interactions with peers and team members that’ll increase engagement, productivity and most importantly, happiness.

Additionally, participants will learn how to leverage the power of play within facilitated live experiences - (i.e. meetings, networking events, off-sites, etc.) - to consistently create the conditions for a sustainable workplace culture of belonging.

  • 1. Break down the fundamentals of what it means to “belong” and best practices on how to build it into every interaction, meeting or team event that you facilitate.

    2. Learn the key ingredients to collective and individual belonging, then use these ingredients to create recipes (or scripts) for repeatable tools.

    3. It’s time to put it into practice. Session participants will have the opportunity to lead a “practice” meeting using the P.L.A.Y. method to experience what it means to “break the 4th wall” and cultivate engagement through belonging in real time.

In our remote-first world, the art and structure of work-life balance can be challenging. When your “office” bleeds into your kitchen and pajamas become the new “casual Friday” attire, it’s easy to feel pulled in every direction mentally and emotionally.

In this workshop, participants will learn a work-life balance game (literally) that’s actually helpful. Eli breaks down her signature P.L.A.Y.™ method to help remote or hybrid teams create balance and belonging–both personally and professionally–through the art of play.

  • Both options are available. Let’s talk about what makes the most sense for your goals.

  • I’ve delivered these workshops for anywhere from 10-300 participants. Fewer attendees means more interaction, customization and practice time. For 40+ participants, the training is executed much like a facilitated keynote with ample time for Q&A.
